The three of them come together when they're all pursing separate goals undercover. Irina pretends her cover identity is a past lover of Sloane's to throw Jack off his game; Sloane takes shameless advantage and does everything he can to stir the pot even further, and soon their cover stories have turned into acting out a tangled mess of various romantic entanglements between all three of them.
